Your role:

As the Internal Communications Manager, you will play a critical role in driving employee engagement and ensuring clear, consistent messaging across the organization. You will lead the execution of Zanders' internal newsletter and spearhead the rollout of a new intranet as a central hub for internal communications. You will collaborate across departments to streamline communication efforts, and support initiatives focused on cross-selling and upselling opportunities.

This role requires a hands-on professional with strong stakeholder management skills, exceptional writing and editing abilities, and experience doing basic work in tools like Adobe InDesign. You will be comfortable balancing strategic initiatives with day-to-day execution.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Internal Newsletter: Lead the content creation, design, and distribution of the company’s internal newsletter, ensuring engaging and informative content that resonates with employees. Utilize tools such as Adobe InDesign for basic design needs and editing of the newsletter.
• Intranet project management: Manage the rollout of a new internal intranet, working closely with IT and other departments to ensure its success as the go-to platform for communication and resources.
• Townhall support: Support the planning, and follow-up of Townhall meetings.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with various teams, including HR, Marketing, and business units based across the globe, to promote internal initiatives, cross-sell/upsell opportunities, and drive employee participation.
• Stakeholder management: Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders, managing expectations, gathering feedback, and ensuring alignment on communication strategies.
• Content creation and editing: Draft and edit clear, compelling communications for various internal channels (newsletters, intranet, emails, video, presentations), ensuring consistency in tone and style.
• Employee engagement initiatives: Support the implementation of internal campaigns that drive employee engagement and improve the overall employee experience.

Skills to be successful:

• 3-7 years of experience in internal communications, with a proven track record of hands-on execution and project management.
• Strong experience managing and collaborating with diverse stakeholders across all levels of an organization.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills in English, with the ability to create engaging content for a variety of internal platforms.
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign for basic editing/publishing of newsletter.
• Experience managing the rollout of communication tools such as intranets, with a focus on driving adoption and engagement.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a self-starter with the ability to manage internal communications across various departments and locations. Organizationally adaptable with a constructive, critical mindset.
• A keen eye for detail, ensuring high-quality communication that aligns with business goals.
