Product Manager – Credit Risk Suite
Are you looking for the next step? Do you want to contribute to a fast growing technology group? Join our global Products & Services team!
Your role
We launched our Zanders Inside platform five years ago to deliver user-friendly financial tools that help treasury and risk professionals manage today’s data-driven world. With over 100 clients using our suite of solutions, we’re looking for a hands-on product manager to help us grow and refine our Credit Risk Suite.
You’ll join Zanders Solutions, a 20+-person team responsible for developing and delivering our software products. In this role, you’ll support the delivery and continuous improvement of our Credit Risk Suite — a set of tools that help corporates, banks, and investment funds assess counterparty credit risk and comply with IFRS 9 requirements. Currently, the credit risk suite is used by 10 clients and we are looking to grow the client base significantly over the coming years.
You will focus on client delivery, helping ensure a smooth onboarding experience and translating user feedback into product improvements. Working closely with consultants, developers, and clients, you’ll play a key role in ensuring client satisfaction and enhancing our product offering. Furthermore, you will support the sales process by providing product expertise in our conversations with prospects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery and onboarding of the Credit Risk Suite for new and existing clients
- Help maintain a clear and prioritized product backlog based on client feedback and internal input
- Monitor client experience and work with consultants and developers to address issues and improvements
- Contribute to the product roadmap with realistic, value-adding enhancements
- Prepare and maintain documentation, guides, and client-facing materials
- Collaborate with our commercial team during presales conversations to share product insights when needed
Skills to be successful:
We’re looking for a candidate with a hands-on mindset, a client-first attitude, and a desire to grow into a product leadership role.
Must-haves:
- Around 4–6 years of total experience, including at least 2 years in credit risk-related work (consulting, financial institution, or software firm)
- A product mindset: interest in product development, customer experience, and scalable delivery
- Basic knowledge of credit risk concepts (e.g., internal ratings, probability of default, ECL, IFRS 9)
- Some familiarity with software development processes (Agile, backlog management, etc.)
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English
- Ability to set your own agenda and work independently without extensive supervision.
- A high quality standard
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with SaaS delivery or implementation
- Exposure to financial institutions or regulatory environments
- Understanding of APIs, databases, or technical architecture (at a conceptual level)
We offer:
- Work-Life Balance: A good balance between work and free time in combination with healthy work-from-home ethics and wellness policy.
- Prime Location: Offices on the canals of Amsterdam and next to Utrecht Central Station, easily accessible by public transport.
- Professional Development: Opportunity to work alongside a variety of clients and consultants, enabling you to build new skills quickly and become a refined professional with credibility and value.
- Continuous Learning: Varied and personal training program that will elevate your soft skills and content knowledge.
- Competitive Compensation: Attractive salary, generous holiday allowance, mobility budget, and performance-based bonus structure.
- Comprehensive Benefits: Pension scheme and health insurance package.
- Technology Support: State-of-the-art technology tools to support your work, including laptop and smartphone.
- Vibrant Culture: A fun and enterprising team and organization that encourages, motivates, and focuses on its people.
- Team Building: Enthusiastic and helpful colleagues, premium coffee, annual Zanders trip to a surprise European location, and other engaging social activities.
