About Zanders

The Zanders Solutions division provides specialised cloud solutions within our Treasury and Financial Risk Management and advisory knowledge domains with the aim of providing operational and compliance relief to our clients. Next to our software development efforts, we have recently set up a client facing GenAI Delivery team to develop and deploy GenAI solutions at our clients.
The Solutions team, responsible for our cloud services currently consists of 25 FTE and is growing significantly. The team has a varied background ranging from software development and DevOps to content experts and marketing and sales professionals, servicing several different software solutions. Our colleagues work together informally from the Netherlands and Croatia. At the same time, as part of the larger Zanders organization, we are surrounded by fun, motivated colleagues who have fun at work. Something that is also most important to us.
You will work closely with our Product Manager in the Netherlands to support the development and growth of the Credit Risk Suite, which includes applications focused on IFRS 9 compliance and credit rating modelling, used by banks, investment funds and corporates. You will act as the bridge between clients and our development team, ensuring that functional requirements are clear, new features are thoroughly tested, and client queries are handled with expertise and care.
Key Responsibilities:
Gather, clarify, and document business and functional requirements based on client feedback and market developments
Serve as the primary point of contact for CRS clients on all credit risk-related questions, including model logic, regulatory requirements (e.g., IFRS 9), and practical application of credit risk methodologies.
Provide expert guidance and support on the use, configuration, and interpretation of the Credit Risk Suite applications, ensuring clients fully understand the underlying models and outputs.
Gather, clarify, and document business and functional requirements based on client feedback and market developments, with a strong focus on credit risk content.
Translate credit risk requirements into clear, actionable specifications for the development team, ensuring functional intent is well understood.
Participate in system testing, validation of new releases, and user acceptance testing, with a focus on the accuracy and relevance of credit risk features.
Support product rollout activities, onboarding, and client presentations, acting as a subject matter expert on credit risk.
Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of features that meet client and regulatory needs.
Contribute to product improvement and roadmap discussions, bringing in-depth credit risk expertise and awareness of regulatory developments.
Skills to be successful:
1 to 4 years of experience in credit risk modelling, financial risk analytics, or a closely related field.
Deep understanding of credit risk concepts (e.g., PD, LGD, ECL), regulatory frameworks, and practical application in financial institutions.
Ability to explain model logic and system workflows to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with programming or software development principles (e.g., Python, SQL) is a plus, but not the primary focus.
Strong communication skills, with confidence presenting to and supporting clients.
Ability to translate complex credit risk ideas into clear, structured requirements for software development.
Proactive mindset and willingness to work in close, cross-border collaboration.
Fluent in English (spoken and written).
