Your Role

As a Working Student in the PRIIPs team, you will become part of our group with expertise in financial markets, programming, and mathematics. 2 days per week, you will work on our in-house solution that supports funds managers in producing compliant and high-quality regulatory calculations.

About PRIIPs

PRIIPs (Packaged Retail and Insurance-based Investment Products) is a European regulation requiring fund managers to provide transparent, standardized information to retail investors through a Key Information Document (KID). It ensures that retail investors receive clear, comparable, and reliable risk, performance, and cost metrics before making investment decisions.

Within Zanders, we have developed an in-house PRIIPs solution that delivers robust, transparent, and trustworthy calculations for our clients’ KIDs. Our solution combines quantitative financial models, regulatory expertise, and software engineering to ensure accuracy, auditability, and flexibility in a fast-changing regulatory landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Improve and develop our in-house PRIIPs calculation engine

• Contribute to testing, validation, and documentation to ensure robustness and reliability.

• Your output is delivered directly to the client!

Skills to be successful:

• Currently pursuing an MSc (or late BSc) in a quantitative field such as Financial Mathematics, Econometrics or Physics.

• Strong programming skills in Python

• Affinity with financial markets; knowledge of derivatives pricing or risk calculations is a plus.

• Analytical mindset and attention to detail.

• Proactive, communicative, and comfortable taking ownership.

• Fluent in English or Dutch (both is a plus).
