Your role:

As an Accountant you will be responsible for accurate and timely administration of the month-end close procedures. Your attention to detail will help you own complex accounting areas, prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and reconcile the intercompany positions on a monthly basis. You'll work alongside our finance team in the Netherlands and Croatia. Candidates must be willing and able to travel regularly from Croatia to the Netherlands, particularly during the initial phase of employment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support monthly/quarterly close processes.

• Administrate and prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and reports.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements in detail.

• Serve as liaison with auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders.

• Ensure internal controls are designed, documented, and followed.

• Handle complex accounting areas (e.g., fixed assets, revenue recognition, intercompany and lease accounting).

Skills to be successful:

• At least 3 years of general accounting experience.

• Completed Bachelor's in the area of Finance or Accounting. Minor in Tax Accounting is preferred.

• Advanced knowledge of SAP and/or other similar ERP system.

• Understanding of GAAP or IFRS.

• Good Excel skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

• Ability to manage projects and meet deadlines independently.

• Fluent English.
